Mission

Our mission is to create unique and memorable event experiences through intelligent and thoughtfully executed designs.

Vision

Little Mad Events exists because we saw an opportunity within the special events industry to elevate clients' expectations by providing elegant and innovative event design concepts to the market while fostering an efficient and honest working relationship between client and vendor.  There are a lot of event companies these days and we are consistently inspired by their work to push ourselves to a higher standard.  At the same time, events should be fun.  We want to find that sweet spot on the Venn diagram where professionalism, design and joy overlap.

The event industry can also be very hard on it's workers.  Long hours and demanding clients are not for everyone.  The ones who thrive in this environment are the ones that we want to stick with.  They should not have to sacrifice quality of life to stay in this line of work though. We believe that it is possible to sustain a happy, healthy, and positive professional career for talented individuals in the special events industry.

Through focusing on our strengths and keeping our expenses and inventory at a minimum, we are working to build a profitable and sustainable company that can adapt to shifting industry demands.  To do that, we maintain our main focus on the following four concepts:

01.
Quality–

First an foremost we want to provide the best quality product that we are able to.  If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

02.
Communication–

If expectations are clear to all parties involved, much of the stress of putting on an event can be eliminated.

03.
Community–

If quality is what we do and communication is how we do it, then community is why.  Our people and our home (Colorado) are everything to us.

04.
Sustainability–

Special events are notoriously impactful.  We want to partner with organizations and causes that can help us offset that impact while minimizing our own.

History

The gestation period for a Chinchilla averages 110 days.  For an African Elephant it is 645 days.  For Little Mad Events it was somewhere closer to 1,815 days.  It was quite the marathon of ideas and planning and delays, and while we are glad to finally bring the company into the world, we know that raising it will be just as challenging!

Corey got his start in the events industry at a young age in photography.  Wanting a change of pace and an opportunity to do more 'hands-on' work, he joined the graphics team at Design Works in Denver.  After a few years creating outrageous graphics and installing events for Design Works he moved on to work more in the mountain towns he calls home.  His years at Pink Monkey provided many new experiences, relationships, and sleepless nights working for a small company.  It was there that he learned more about the business and sales side of the industry.  As the saying goes, "you cant keep a good woman down," so in 2015 he expanded his horizons to get as much experience as possible by freelancing for as many event companies as possible including catering and a brief stint with Cirque du Soleil.

2017 was the year to make the leap though.  Wanting to rekindle the relationships he made over the years as well as a desire to provide a happy home for some of the most talented people to work in the industry, Little Mad Events was brought to life in the late fall of 2017.  With a few events under our belt right from the get go, we are looking to blossom into our awkward adolescence in the summer of 2018.  We look forward to being a part of it with all of you!
